Great Local Pros is a static directory — every town has its own page, generated nightly and served from a global CDN. When you tap a phone number, your phone makes the call. We don't see or store it. There are no accounts, no logins, no tracking pixels, no ad networks, no "verify your email to see contact info." Our entire site is built around one idea: the directory should not stand between the neighbor and the pro.
Listings come from two places: (1) business owners who claim their own free listing, and (2) basic name/phone/address pulled from publicly available state business registry filings. Every public-records listing is clearly labeled with its source. We do not scrape Google, Yelp, Facebook, or any third-party directory. Any business owner can claim or remove their listing for free — we honor takedown requests within 48 hours, no questions asked.
We're not a license bureau, a background-check service, or an insurance verifier. Always confirm a contractor's license and insurance directly before any major work — that's true here, on Google, on Angi, anywhere. We're also not a "matchmaker" — we don't route your job to multiple businesses on your behalf. You pick who to call. That's the whole point.
